The commune steps down between the Basse Corniche and the sea, with residences clinging to the cliff and steep approaches. Two points shape the demand: the harbour at Marquet, a small marina on the Monegasque boundary, and Mala beach, one of the finest on the coast, reachable only by several hundred steps — so the drop-off is at the top, on Avenue Raymond Gramaglia. The rest is residential, with short runs to Monaco and airport transfers. Nice Côte d'Azur is half an hour away on the A8, with the Basse Corniche as the fallback when the motorway closes.
