Nice Airport → Isola 2000 transfer

Ninety-three kilometres and an hour and a half: Isola 2000 is the closest ski resort to an international airport in Europe, and this journey demonstrates it. It climbs the Tinée valley from the Var plain, on a mountain road that rises from sea level to two thousand metres. In winter that means mandatory equipment, a surface that can be icy over the final kilometres and, after heavy snowfall, temporary closures or restricted access. We follow the road bulletins and warn you as soon as the time changes. On the luggage side, volume is central: ski bags, snowboards, helmets and boots do not fit in a saloon car beyond two people. The van solves that. The drop-off is at the foot of the residences, skis on.

The indicative rate is 167 € one way in a saloon car — 93 kilometres at 1.8 € per kilometre. That covers pick-up at your address or in the arrivals hall, flight or train tracking, waiting time if your transport is late, luggage and tolls.

There is no meter, no night, weekend or public-holiday surcharge, and no luggage supplement.
